We Carry a Wide Selection of Ponte Vecchio Contemporary Italian Jewelry
In the 1960s, a young Ugo Cala moved to Florence, Italy, with his family, working in his father’s small barber shop just steps away from the famous Ponte Vecchio. Cala’s role at the shop was to sweep the floor to remove the hair of his father’s clients, who just happened to be some of Italy’s finest goldsmiths and workshop masters. It was there that Cala was introduced to the jewelry industry and began to formulate dreams for his own future.
In the 1970s, Cala launched his own collection of jewelry, strongly influenced by the Florentine design aesthetic. Through the decades, his brand has evolved and modernized, creating ever-contemporary, ever-classic, ever-Italian designs for today’s woman. In 2014, TIVOL welcomed Ponte Vecchio jewelry to its stores.
