Plaza store manager Gary Pener is a lifelong Kansas Citizan. He has been in the jewelry business for 35 years, the last 21 of which have been spent at TIVOL. Gary has four children and has been married for more than 30 years. Along with his devotion to TIVOL and providing amazing customer service,  Gary is a fan of the Royals, Chiefs, and all college sports.

Annie has 20 years in the jewelry industry.  She graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a BS in Marketing/Management.  She started with the Zale corporation and quickly moved up to management and relocated to a store in Topeka.  After getting engaged, she moved back to the Kansas City area and found TIVOL in 2001.  She was promoted to the assistant manager in 2005 and enjoys helping all of her customers with their special occasions.  When she’s not working, she’s usually traveling with her daughter to volleyball tournaments.

A former entrepreneur of the fashion world, Lisa Lyddon, assistant manager of the Plaza store, brought her design sense to TIVOL over 20 years ago. She has a passion for ballroom dancing, music, and spending time with her family. Lisa cherishes her relationships with her clients and looks forward to being a part of their lives.

Denise Baker has been at TIVOL since 1999. Prior to joining TIVOL, she served as assistant manager for a St. Louis jeweler for three years, and as the fine jewelry manager for another St. Louis jeweler for an additional year. After being recruited by former co-workers, Denise was very excited to join TIVOL because of their reputation as one of the premier jewelry stores in the United States. Denise and her family are happy to call Kansas City home.

When AJ Paddack came to TIVOL over 20 years ago, she brought her passion of fine art. She was the director of an international fine art company, but she found her home at TIVOL. If she is not in the store, she is either at a kid's event, running, bicycling, training or traveling. AJ says, "I want to make sure that the major moments in our clients lives are celebrated not only with beautiful jewelry but with a wonderful memory to cherish.

Alana is a Kansas City native who brings over a decade of experience in jewelry and personalized service. She graduated from Kansas State University where she played softball for the Wildcats. For Alana, the greatest part of working with clients is in the discovery of their story, understanding their vision and bringing that to life. When Alana is not working, she enjoys catching a Chiefs or Royals game, cooking, traveling and spending time with her fiance and family.

Amanda Thompson, a Kansas City native, is proud to be a part of a century-old family owned business. She loves the world of jewelry and the value that pieces hold both monetarily and emotionally. Though she admires new, inventive jewelry designs, she really also appreciates the history of well-made, classic timepieces. During her time at TIVOL, she has enjoyed helping clients with heart-felt gifts and momentous engagement ring searches. When Amanda is not working at TIVOL, she spends time with her family and her stubborn bulldog, Monte.

Dominic Quintero has 23 years of jewelry industry experience, and he has been with TIVOL for 15. Among his favorite moments with the company was his trip to Geneva, Switzerland to tour the Patek Philippe factory. He is a devoted husband and father of identical twin daughters. Not only is he a Royals and Chiefs fan, but he also spends time rock climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding and playing chess.

Gloria McGrath brings a career history rich in customer service to the Hawthorne team. She thoroughly enjoys client interactions and assisting in the procurement of truly memorable pieces for each and every occasion. A native of Kansas City, she has celebrated many life events through TIVOL purchases of her own, leading to an appreciation of TIVOL's incomparable service, integrity and unsurpassed value. When not in-store, she can be caught eating out, reading and delighting in the lives of her friends and family.

After graduating from Long Island University in New York, Heather joined the family jewelry business started by her grandfather. While managing one of their retail locations, Heather earned her Certified Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America and the American Gem Society certification. Heather recently relocated to Kansas City with her husband and was drawn to TIVOL by its reputation and a shared belief in the company’s mission. Her passion is building relationships with her clients while helping to find that special something. Outside of work, she treasures family, friends, Loose Park and of course the Chiefs! 

A Kansas City native who has a passion for jewelry and fashion, Kailey loves working directly with clients and watching people cherish the one-of-a-kind pieces they find. She has had a fascination with jewelry ever since she was a little girl, and her passion grew when she was studying Business Management at Northwest Missouri State. Kailey has 10 years of experience in the jewelry industry. She loves the detail and craftsmanship that goes into each timepiece & jewelry piece. Having the opportunity to make such a monumental moment that much more special is truly a privilege! 

Originally from Oklahoma, Kathryn came into TIVOL at 2011 and brought with her great passion and extensive knowledge of watches and fine jewelry. Over the years at TIVOL Kathryn has developed an even greater enthusiasm for fine timepieces, and has a long history of helping her clients find the perfect edition to their collection. When Kathryn is not at TIVOL, she spends time with friends enjoying a great Kansas City restaurant or whipping up her own recipes at home with her adorable dogs, Doozie and Hops.

Myles is a native Kansas Citian who comes from an art history background. He is passionate about educating his clients on the significance of each particular piece. Whether they are antique designs or modern statement pieces, he is sure to have a fine art reference point to convey the craftsmanship, innovation, or pure brilliance of the objects. When he is not at TIVOL, Myles is actively engaged in the community alongside his wife, Lisa.

Sarah has been at TIVOL for five years now. She spent two years as an intern in the Marketing Department while she was studying Strategic Communications at the University of Kansas. After graduation, she decided to take her talents to the sales floor. Her passion comes from her mom's love of jewelry which she has admired since she was a young girl. When Sarah is not at work, she loves to travel with her family and go to happy hour with friends.

Originally from the Kansas City area, Susan has a ton of hometown pride and loves rooting for her favorite teams like the KU Jayhawks, the Royals and of course, the Chiefs! She’s traveled all over the world but recently got married and is calling KC home again. Susan has been in the jewelry industry since 2015 and is excited to be a part of the TIVOL team, especially with their long history in our community. She loves helping her clients celebrate the special moments big and small with a gift from TIVOL. Whether it is a custom design or one of the classics, she enjoys helping them create lifelong memories!

Tami Noon Mahaney has been with TIVOL for more than fifteen years. Prior to joining the company, she owned her own custom window treatment and decorating firm for over 10 years. In addition to jewelry, Tami has a love for sports, especially CHIEFS Football! At TIVOL, Tami has spent much of her time in sales and loves helping customers through the engagement process and seeing them marry, celebrate anniversaries, and grow their families. She has recently transitioned into our inventory department as the Inventory Manager, with a focus on special orders.  While Tami is now a bit more behind the scenes, she still enjoys helping our sales staff order or create the perfect gift to make a special occasion.

Kansas City native Ward Manes has more than 30 years of experience in luxury goods. He began his career at Hall's in Kansas City as a department manager. Ward has worked at TIVOL on three separate occasions during his career. Throughout those iterations, he has served as a salesperson, assistant store manager of the Country Club Plaza store, the Plaza store manager and as a designer jewelry merchandiser. Between stints at TIVOL, Ward worked as the jewelry manager for Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and as senior vice president of Michael Beaudry, Inc. Finally, he came ‘home’ to TIVOL and has spent the last 8 years on the sales floor. Ward has recently taken on a new adventure at TIVOL as our Merchandising Manager and Jewelry Buyer.

Lindsay Ross, G.G., G.J., graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in 2004 and has been in the jewelry industry ever since. She worked for five years at Tiffany & Co. in both San Diego, CA, as a customer service representative, as well as in Kansas City, as an operations professional and assistant store manager. She also served as a gemologist and sales associate for four years at another midwest jeweler. At TIVOL, Lindsay works as our appraiser and diamond buyer. She utilizes her years of knowledge and passion for jewelry in each aspect and is a valuable part of our team.
