Rhiannon is section editor for BBC History Magazine and our Tudor ambassador, writing a fortnightly newsletter in which she shares the latest Tudor news, anniversaries and content with her audience. She regularly appears on the award-winning HistoryExtra podcast, where she interviews experts on a variety of subjects, from Lucy Worsley discussing her TV show on the Blitz to Julian Sancton on the perils of polar exploration. She has also chaired HistoryExtra’s five-part virtual lecture series on Tudor women, delivered by Tracy Borman. Holding a first-class degree in History from Lancaster University, Rhiannon is fascinated by a wide variety of topics, from the history of medicine and disease to the perils of polar exploration in the past. When she’s not at work, she can often be found visiting historical sites around the UK and never misses a chance to watch a joust or don a hard-hat and travel down into a mine.
