In ‘Henry VIII And His Six Wives’, Dan and Suzannah lead us through the web of intrigue, scandal, romance, lust, betrayal and tragedy that characterised Henry’s six marriages, viewing the dramatic events of each union from the perspectives of both king and queen.

The first episode, which follows Henry's first two marriages – to Katherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn – airs on Channel 5 at 8pm on Friday 15 April.
