BLACK CAVIAR BY LAGOS HAS ARRIVED

Stephen Lagos just released his new Black Caviar jewelry collection… and it’s fabulous. I am so happy to see something edgy and different from Lagos. 

As an owner and lover of a few silver and pearl pieces, I think they’re fantastic for every day. But on days you wake up and just feel like wearing something a little more striking, LAGOS may not have been the first designer you thought of. But Black Caviar — with its black ceramic links and versatility — fills the void. Unlike some blackened styles by other designers, the Black Caviar ceramic doesn’t fade or lose that rich black color over time or with wear and tear. The collection also pairs very nicely with platinum and gold alike. This collection is HOT.

Three reasons why I’m digging this:

1.  BLACK

What color does Lady Gaga opt for when the meat dresses have run out? Black. She went classic in Brandon Maxwell at Emmy’s this year.  The Ashley Williams clutch shown at London Fashion Week would pair so nicely with Black Caviar.

2.  METALLIC

I adore anything with metallic accenting… regardless. Rose, yellow, and white gold all add a touch of luxury to anything.

3.  TEXTURE

Kerry Washington killed it in Marc Jacobs. Seriously, the variety of textures and tones in one dress makes me so happy. And look at that bottom row – a pop of gold just like LAGOS. She wasn’t the only one with a little something extra to her dress.
